Job Summary

On behalf of a leading healthcare institution, Talents Nexus is seeking a meticulous and results-driven Quality Specialist for its Najaf branch at the Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital. This role is essential in supporting the hospital’s commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, implementing quality management systems, and driving performance improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Monitoring:


• Implement and monitor internal quality assurance systems and programs across clinical and non-clinical departments.
• Perform audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure alignment with local and international standards.
• Monitor performance indicators and develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans where necessary.

Regulatory Compliance:


• Support preparation for accreditations, licensing, and audits from external authorities.
• Ensure policies, SOPs, and workflows meet regulatory and institutional standards.
• Collaborate with legal and risk departments to manage compliance issues.

Process Improvement & Reporting:


• Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Analyze data trends and prepare quality reports for hospital leadership and governing bodies.
• Facilitate root cause analyses (RCAs) following adverse events or incidents.

Training & Culture Building:


• Conduct training sessions on quality management systems and best practices for staff.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and accountability throughout the hospital.
• Support internal communication of quality initiatives, updates, and success stories.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management or hospital accreditation in a healthcare setting.

Skills and Expertise:


• Solid knowledge of international healthcare standards (e.g., JCI, ISO, WHO Patient Safety).
• Proficient in quality assurance tools, data analysis, and audit procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, QMS software, incident tracking tools).

Preferred:


• Experience in a multicultural or resource-limited hospital setting.
• Certification in quality (e.g., CPHQ, Six Sigma, Lean Healthcare).
